The teachers of these home schools are young girls of 16 to 24 years, with a metric level education. The teachers are instructed on teaching methods and provided with a list of goals set out in the curriculum designed by the CEDF. These girls are allowed to work as teachers by their conservative families since the home schools are located in their own homes. Each school runs a two hour shift with about 20 to 25 students of which about 50 percent are girls. The CEDF pays the teacher’s salary and rent for the room. Each member of CEDF working committee oversees the progress of one Home or Mobile School, acts as its coordinator and is responsible for its running and reporting to the working committee at its monthly meetings
